On September 14, 2013, when the cool summer faded and the cool breeze hit, the Alumni Association of Peking University in the Greater Washington Region held a very successful picnic in Cabin John Regional Park. The annual picnic of Cabin John Regional Park is a traditional project of the alumni association, which has been held annually since 1999.

At least 99 alumni participated in this picnic, and the total number of participants was more than 150.
