On January 27, 2013, some alumni from the Greater Washington area of Peking University and 20 students from the Chimerica visiting group of the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University gathered together and spent a pleasant afternoon.

The meeting was hosted by Bao Yiming, the president of the Alumni Association, and was held at Mr. Bao's home. The alumni included Chen Ping, Huang Chenqi, Huang Xiuru, Li Shuwei, Li Yeqing, Shi Tuo, Wei Jun, etc. The alumni come from all walks of life, politics, education, and business, and they shared their unique successful experiences and life insights with the visiting schoolboys and school girls.

Regarding the life planning issues that students are more interested in, some of the alumni talked about their studies and work history, some gave pertinent suggestions and gave pointers to the problems.
