The annual welcome picnic in late summer and early autumn is a "brand" activity of the Peking University Alumni Association. Recalling the old and welcoming the new and expanding the network, many alumni join the big family of the alumni association through the picnic platform. The hard-fought camp and the constant flow of soldiers have been passed down from generation to generation in Peking University. The 2015 picnic will be held at the old place-Cabin John Park at noon on September 19th. With special barbecue, cold Sichuan noodles, snacks in northern Shaanxi, refreshing vegetables, red watermelon and green grapes, let us cool off in the lush, refreshing and pleasant Cabin John Park and enjoy a drink and chat!

What is different from the past is that this year's Peking University Alumni Association will join the "Meizhu Cup" as a "pine" in this long-standing contest between gentlemen. The Meizhu Cup, jointly organized by the Greater Washington Jiaotong University Alumni Association and Tsinghua University Alumni Association, has a history of 17 years. The pine is evergreen in all seasons, never withering nor withering, symbolizing the loftiness and steadfastness of Chinese culture. With the participation of our Peking University, the three schools have formed the "Three Friends of Sui Han" in the Washington Society.

The award ceremony of this year's Meizhusong Cup Interschool Competition will be held at the picnic on September 10. Previously, there were table tennis for all ages, exciting football, enthusiastic basketball, and elegant golf games. Peking University athletes have won the football championship, and there is the last tug-of-war game with great momentum. Whether we can win and pursue, please come to the scene to witness together!

Who will win the plum, bamboo and pine cup, wait and see, the tug-of-war competition requires your cheering, cheering and cheering; the new year picnic prepares a sumptuous meal and invites you to gather in the pavilion for leisure and entertainment. Fudan University and the University of Science and Technology of China Alumni Association will also host a picnic for the new year at the same place and at the same time. The five alumni associations gather together for the first time, and you should not miss it.
